Biography

Rolling Stone Magazine describes Paris as "a voice with an astonishing seven octave vocal range that draws you in with messages from his heart an soul. The presence of Paris Delane on stage is so overwhelming it's an experience that one does not forget". Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, in a neighborhood where statistically young black men didn't live past the age of sixteen, Paris Delane found himself in his music. Paris was deeply influenced musically through his mother Lillian as well as Miles Davis, Mavis Staples, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Otis Redding. 

As one of the lead voices for Sonia Dada, Paris toured around the world and worked with the biggest names in the music business; Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood and Traffic, Tower of Power, The Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan, James Brown, Bruce Hornsby Funky Meter's and many others.

Biography

Driven by acoustic guitars, earthy percussion and soaring harmonies, the Hangman's Beautiful Daughter is the love-child project of singer-songwriters Steve and Meredith "MJ" Roth. Since forming in 2006, Steve and MJ recorded an album, played on the radio, played on TV, opened up and played with rock stars, played with ghosts, been nominated for and won awards, and moved from Buffalo, NY to Nashville. They also got married in a coffeehouse in Franklin, TN. With a style and sound reminiscent of modern 70's rock, the band performs cuts from their two CDs as well as a variety of songs by artists who have influenced them. This includes Tom Petty, Counting Crows, Neil Young, Blitzen Trapper, Sheryl Crow, Johnny Cash, Pearl Jam, the Beatles, current hits and much more.
